About
Love Our Locals
The L.O.L. Festival is a lively, family-friendly 3-day celebration that brings the whole City of Gulf Shores and the Gulf Coast together for a weekend of music, food, and local pride.

Held at Waterway Village in Gulf Shores, AL, the festival showcases talented local musicians across multiple genres from folk, Americana, country, southern rock, blues, blues rock, alternative, funk, indie, progressive rock, to sound blend elements of heavy psych and experimental rock. Our stage will feature scheduled performances throughout the weekend, welcoming an atmosphere where families can enjoy the music together.

The festival’s food truck area is a highlight in itself, showcasing a mouthwatering variety of dishes crafted by local chefs and family-owned vendors. Each truck brings its own personality and hometown flavor. What makes the experience special is that the food is prepared by members of the community, who are local entrepreneurs who pour pride and passion into every plate. The result is more than just a meal; it’s a taste of the community itself, bringing people together over flavors that reflect the town’s creativity and culture.

Local businesses set up booths to share their products and services, and to connect with the community and share what they offer. Guests are invited to stroll through the displays, meet the people behind the businesses, and discover unique goods and helpful services available right here in the community. It’s a welcoming opportunity to support local entrepreneurs while building meaningful connections with neighbors and business owners alike.

Sea Glass Initiative Inc., a local nonprofit social service agency, will also play a central role in the event as they assist with our bike valet and accept donations to help serve the unhoused residents of Baldwin County, AL. Their mission of uniting the community through compassion to help end and prevent homelessness in Baldwin county is supported by the L.O.L. Festival, and we hope that you consider making a donation even if you do not bike your way to the festival grounds.

As the sun sets on Sunday, April 12th, the festival will conclude with a headline performance by a well-known local band and a Best of Baldwin 2026 winner, The Destinations, by representing the best of the 70s and southern rock n’ roll.

The L.O.L. Festival is more than just an event, it’s a vibrant gathering that celebrates local talent, small businesses, and the strong sense of community that makes the City of Gulf Shores and the Gulf Coast area amazing.
